About us

The purpose of the orphanage is to provide care and upbringing to children and teenagers, whose families are permanently, or temporarily unable to care for them. The overall work of our institution is based on faith, on Christian values, and educational ideas of the founder of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate Conception, Blessed Edmund Bojanowski. Our facility provides conditions suitable for personal development of all children. It provides assistance related to education and the process of becoming self dependent. It also helps in matters related to health and physical care, and creates an environment suitable for interest and religious practice development.

We encourage the biological families to stay in touch with their children. We also provide help to those who had been under our care in previous years. Our goal is to create a family-like atmosphere, where the personnel plays the roles of facilitators of personal growth, psychophysical, emotional and spiritual development, balancing out the lack of a family home. Our primary task is to prepare the children for the responsibilities awaiting them, once they leave our facility. We also pay attention to the development of life skills, including social skills and interpersonal communication. To facilitate the work and create a personal approach, the children live and study in four groups.
