The Pope Pius XI Orphanage in Chotomow is a private multipurpose institution run by the Congregation of the Servant Sisters of Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception Province of Lodz. It can accomodate 30 children aged 3 to 18. The orphanage consists of two houses. The main one is occupied by the younger children. Also housed in this building is the dinning room, study area and recreational room. The second smaller building, at the entrance of the property, houses emergency intervention cases as well as the older children involved in the independent living program.
